The Old School House is a charming and spacious property, highly praised for its cleanliness, unique character, and attentive hosts. Guests enjoyed the hot tub, local pub, and scenic location ideal for countryside walks and visiting nearby towns. Some noted the property's quirks and suggested minor improvements.
Guests consistently described the property as clean and well-kept, with only a few minor comments about spiders, which are understandable given the rural setting.
The location is frequently lauded for its beauty and convenience, with easy access to local attractions and nature, making it perfect for exploring and relaxing.
While many guests found the property comfortable and spacious, there were several remarks about uncomfortable beds and sofa beds, and the chill during colder weather.
The facilities, including the hot tub and kitchen, were generally appreciated, but some guests encountered issues with heating, hot tub maintenance, and suggested additional kitchenware could be provided.
Although guests mentioned thoughtful touches, there is inconsistency in the provision of welcome gifts and amenities like towels, leading to uncertainty about what is guaranteed.
