Guests say

Lower Hodre is consistently praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and stunning location. Guests highlight the welcoming hosts, the well-equipped and homely feel, and the delightful hot tub with countryside views. The property's character and thoughtful touches, such as fresh eggs and homemade cake, contribute to its charm. It's an ideal retreat for family gatherings and nature lovers seeking tranquility and relaxation.

Reviewers frequently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'spotless' and 'squeaky clean'. The attention to detail in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness is evident and greatly appreciated by guests.

The property's location is celebrated for its beauty and tranquility, with guests enjoying the surrounding Shropshire Hills and local walks. The remote setting is seen as a positive aspect, although limited phone signal is noted; however, good WiFi compensates for this.

Comfort is a standout feature, with guests finding the beds 'beautifully comfortable' and the property cosy, thanks to features like log burners and a warm atmosphere. The spaciousness and homeliness contribute to the overall comfort experienced by visitors.

Facilities such as the well-stocked kitchen, hot tub, and wood burning stoves are highly praised. However, there is a mention of outdoor furniture needing an update, which slightly impacts the score. Overall, the facilities are regarded as excellent and contribute to a luxurious stay.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with gestures like providing fresh eggs, cake, and flowers. While these gifts are warmly received, it's important to note that such personal touches, although common, may vary with each stay.

The photographs do not do the house justice - it hasany quirky rooms and is set in beautiful remote surroundings. The children loved exploring the house, gardens and days out at Clun Festival and nearby Wood n’ Ribbon. Once you have stocked up on all your essentials the house has everything you need for some quality time away with friends and family! Emma is a fantastic host and was on hand to answer any questions - even going the extra mile to drive to nearby village to pick up a parcel for one of the party! We cannot wait to come back to Lower Hodre
