The pretty village of Cardington lies amongst the rolling hills of the South Shropshire countryside. Cardington boasts the oldest pub in Shropshire – The Royal Oak, mentioned in the Domesday Book! Its rural situation is ideal for sightseeing, with miles of country walks in all directions, not to mention the beautiful Shropshire hills - a draw for walkers, riders and nature lovers alike! A wealth of birdlife (including buzzards, woodpeckers and ravens) has its home here. Severn Valley Steam Railway, Stokesay Castle, Shrewsbury, Ludlow and the Ironbridge Gorge, with its 10 museums, are each less than 20 miles away. The attractive market towns of Church Stretton (known as "Little Switzerland" by the Victorians) and Much Wenlock are both close by and offer a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. A superb location!

Family 50th wedding anniversary celebration with 17 family members aged between 11 and 71. The property and surrounding facilities were enjoyed by all including the superb swimming pool/gym complex, tennis court with large ride on pedal carts and games rooms.The properties were extremely comfortable in all respects and beautifully furnished meeting all our needs. Stunning surrounding countryside. Just perfect.

You truly had thought of everything to keep all ages happy and we loved all the facilities and the fact the cottage was so well supplied such that we even found masking tape to tape down the edges of our paper tablecloth for our âsip and paintâ session! As other reviews have mentioned the go-karts were of surprisingly good quality which made riding around on them so much fun for all ages. Plus the ability to entertain the little ones (and older ones) in a pool all to yourselves. What a luxury! The house was brilliant with all the little break out spaces and with the great quality (and numerous) outdoor seating which was soo welcome on such gorgeous sunny days! Joyous to look at hills and sky and little pony as well! THANK you so much-we canât wait to come back â¤ï¸

From the moment we arrived at this idyllic location we were stunned by the extensive and spectacular accommodation. The photos on the website were always going to struggle to prepare you for the reality of this place. We had a 20 strong family party ranging in age from 10-73 and there was more than enough facilities on site to keep everyone amused and entertained for the whole week. We loved the fact that there were ample facilities to cater for large family meals in the various kitchens. Plenty of fridge/freezer space for all the food and drink that we all brought. The number of different lounges, sitting rooms and communal areas both indoors and outside meant that the youngsters could play chess quietly in one room whilst the adults sang and danced in the bar. I could talk forever about how great this place is but suffice to say, it was perfect for our family group and everyone has echoed the need to 'do it all again' in the future. A massive shout out to Sara (the owner) for her friendly and helpful approach whenever we had questions. Sara also posted info about a one off local event that was taking place during our stay in case we fancied a visit. We would all happily recommend Corn House as the perfect place to make memories that will last forever. Thank you.
