Clean well equipped kitchen particularly liked the large fridge/freezer as I usually take enough food to last for the duration of the holiday. Comfy bed lots of storage space and nice clean bath and shower rooms. Loved the walks around the gardens especially the wooded area. A few more signs or information would be helpful. Some comfy outdoor furniture would be nice so you can sit comfortably and enjoy the lovely peaceful surroundings and watch the horses. Would highly recommend this cottage, and Liz was very helpful and we enjoyed our chats.

It is well equipped, comfortable and well placed for visiting several superb National Trust properties or just for an abundance of local walks. The barn is across the lane from a livery stables and it was lovely to watch the horses and ponies being ridden or just out in the fields surrounding the stables. There is an extensive garden/woodland literally a couple of minutes down the lane which is accessible to guests and is a haven for birds and wildlife; we didn’t want to leave and we shall definitely be returning but the next time two weeks would be perfect!

Very quiet position but with interesting views and activities such as stables with beautiful horses. The furnishings were tasteful and the bedrooms separated by an unusual double staircase, keeping the bedrooms very separate. Would recommend this holiday accommodation.
