Betty's Barn is highly praised for its charm, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the friendly owners, the beautiful rural setting, and the presence of animals. The property is described as comfortable and well-equipped, offering a tranquil experience with lovely gardens and woodland walks. Some guests mention the challenge of narrow access roads and the desire for more recycling options.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, with many reviews highlighting the spotless condition upon arrival. One mention of a full hoover bag suggests a minor oversight, but overall, the high standards of cleanliness are evident.
The location is celebrated for its idyllic rural setting and proximity to walking trails and scenic views. However, some guests find the narrow access roads challenging, which slightly impacts the overall satisfaction with the location.
The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of cosy furnishings and a warm atmosphere. A few guests note the lounge seating could be more comfortable, but this is not a widespread concern.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being well-equipped and maintained. Some guests suggest improvements such as more detailed recycling information and a fenced patio for pets. The mention of a minor issue with the toilet, which was promptly resolved, indicates good maintenance.
While guests express gratitude for the thoughtful touches like flowers and biscuits, there is not enough information to determine if such gestures are consistent across all stays. Therefore, while appreciated, these gifts should not be expected as guaranteed.

Very quiet position but with interesting views and activities such as stables with beautiful horses. The furnishings were tasteful and the bedrooms separated by an unusual double staircase, keeping the bedrooms very separate. Would recommend this holiday accommodation.

The 2 dogs loved the walks, we looked around at all the animals including hand feeding the peacocks and seeing the horses, Kim, the owner gave us a lovely welcome, nothing was too much trouble
