Situated on the River Teme amongst the countryside of the Welsh Marches is the market town of Ludlow. 10-15 min walk to Ludlow town centre. Excellent communication with the owner and very helpful information & recommendations thoughtfully provided in the Info book at the house. Well equipped kitchen and good facilities. The only things we missed/couldn't locate was a clothes airer (raining so couldn't use outdoor line and didn't want to tumble dry certain items) and a cafetiere (ground coffee we had wasn't suitable for the percolator). The TV reception wasn't great - Freeview/Freesat didn't work at all on either TV, regardless of the weather, and the Sky box had limited channels that scrambled quite a few times. Would suggest packing a Chromecast or similar to stream off your phone instead as the WiFi was very good. These are all nitpicks though, we would very happily stay again!

Itâs within easy walking distance of Ludlow centre, the train station and local supermarkets. We hope to stay at Harris House again and would definitely recommend it to others.
