An attractive, detached, brick-built cottage, only 10 minutes' walk from the heart of Ludlow's famous medieval town centre. Completely renovated to provide high quality, contemporary accommodation, this cottage is ideal for a family holiday or a romantic break. There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom, a stylish kitchen and a cosy sitting room, while the enclosed patio is the ideal spot for an evening drink. The fascinating town of Ludlow is home to a wonderful 11th Century castle, as well as renowned shops, pubs and restaurants. This is a superb base for enjoying one of Britain's most beautiful towns and its surrounding area.

Nearby attractions are wide-ranging and plentiful and include Stokesay Castle, the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, Acton Scott Historic Farm, the wonderful Long Mynd and Caradoc Hills above Church Stretton, not to mention the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, the Severn Valley Railway and fantastic days out in medieval Shrewsbury and Hereford. An ideal cottage to be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Situated on the River Teme amongst the countryside of the Welsh Marches is the market town of Ludlow. With nearly 500 listed buildings, Ludlow's medieval street pattern remains almost intact, providing a unique backdrop for the town's street markets. These events take place beneath the impressive castle and showcase a range of local goods - from cheeses and fresh produce to books and crafts. Ludlow is renowned for its shopping, with a number of high quality antique and craft shops, along with several Michelin-starred restaurants, numerous tea-shops and pubs. The castle itself is over 900 years old and the Linney Riverside Park provides boat hire, a putting green and children's play area. Ludlow is within easy reach of Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Hereford, as well as popular attractions such as Ironbridge Gorge, Severn Valley Railway and Berrington Hall.

    Lovely cottage with enclosed garden Ideal for our two dogs, just a short walk into the centre of Ludlow which has lots of shops and cafe/bars dog friendly and a outdoor market in the centre of Ludlow

    We stayed 10 days this time …7 wasn’t enough last time. Cottage is clean, light, comfortable with everything you need. Phil was a very kind host. Hopefully will return again.

    Very comfortable, loved the sofas lol. Great sized kitchen. Rooms and beds comfy. Not to far from Market place of Ludlow and easy walks to all pubs and Ludlow brewing company and train station. Definitely will be back. Thank you.
