I must not forget the wine also. The equipment , bed linen and towels were plentiful, you want for nothing, the cottage was spotless, also very central to the town and train station. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The very generous welcome pack of wines and delicious homemade cakes and biscuits is the best weâve experienced. The cottage is cosy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with the latest in modern appliances and equipment. Love the Hexclad pans. Itâs in a brilliant location a short walk from the centre of town with its own parking space. So good weâve stayed twice and would recommend it to others.

Kind owners left cupcakes, shortbread and mince pies as well as wine, as a welcome gift - very generous. Great location, and very snug and warm. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Our only adverse comments would be that it wasnât clear from the description that the stairs are quite steep and narrow, so a bit difficult for anyone with restricted mobility, and that the bathroom is pretty small, no bath just a (perfectly adequate) shower - fine for us as a couple, but might be an issue if small children.
