Guests consistently mention the comfort, cleanliness, and well-equipped kitchen, as well as the warm welcome from the accommodating owners. The location is remote, offering tranquillity and access to beautiful countryside walks, though the approach road is narrow and unmade. Some guests note a slight odour from the spring water, but this does not detract from the overall experience. The property is especially recommended for those seeking relaxation and a break from busy life.

Multiple reviews highlight the lodge as extremely clean and well-maintained, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.

The location is celebrated for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and rural charm. Some guests mention the remoteness and narrow access road, but most see this as a positive for peace and quiet.

Guests frequently describe the lodge as comfortable, warm, and cosy, with only one mention that four people might find it a squeeze. Overall, comfort is a strong point.

The lodge is repeatedly described as well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The secure garden is appreciated by dog owners. Minor issues such as the spring water odour are noted but do not significantly impact satisfaction.

Hosts are described as friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. One guest noted the absence of complimentary breakfast items, which are sometimes found elsewhere, but this is not guaranteed at this property.
