Lovely short stay at Callie lodge stunning location and very stunning views Enclosed garden was perfect for our Koopa ( our dog ) he loved how close the sheep got to the lodge the owners were absolute brilliant and welcoming it’s a bit rural for some but it’s was fab for us very peaceful ( there a Morrisons and coop and a chippie around 12 minutes from the lodge will deffo be back

The lodge is in a stunning location. Absolute silence and wonderful views. If you want solitude it's wonderful. However, it is remote and approached by a narrow lane, then a rutted track. The water from the borehole has a brackish smell. The rooms are nicely decorated and furnished but four people could find it a squeeze. The very hot weather spoilt our week there and we left early. I might go back - but in the autumn.

Beautiful log cabin in remote location but with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.Enclosed garden for our dog which was perfect.Cabin was well equipped and comfortable.We enjoyed our 4 night stay and would definitely recommend it to others.
