The location is frequently highlighted for its stunning scenery and tranquility. It's noted as being within easy reach of Shrewsbury and other landmarks, making it an ideal base for exploring Shropshire.

The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable, with a homely atmosphere and excellent facilities. However, a minor note regarding the firmness of the settee and chairs suggests a slight deduction in the comfort score.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through mentions of welcome treats, such as cakes and jam, and the provision of fresh eggs. While these gestures are greatly appreciated by guests, it's important to note that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.

The cottage was beautiful and the hosts were friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds were stunning. We played a bit of tennis (badly) on the shared tennis court. We saw two families of Goslings. We found the tree house and the swing. And took great pleasure in walking around the grounds. The fresh eggs we purchased from Mrs Mitchell were delicious. You can really taste the difference. Mrs Mitchell also makes a variety of Jams. I have purchased two flavours. Oh and the hosts were amazing as they provided us with a pint of milk and also a plate of Tiffins upon arrival. Mrs Mitchell also baked us a cake we ordered from her. Overall, my experience was fantastic and I will be returning once again I hope. Thank you Mr and Mrs Mitchell for everything

The baked goodies and fresh eggs we ordered were an additional treat. We'll definitely return next time we're in the area!

Stunning location and grounds My only complaint is that we only stayed two nights and didn’t get enough time to properly explore the ponds, walks and find the tree house!!! Will definately return!
