Elsie’s cottage was a beautiful cottage. The welcome basket was something else and Jane was so helpful. It really was home from home and being on earls hill was incredible. The views were magnificent and then being treated to the most spectacular sunsets each evening was magical. We did not want to leave and will most certainly be coming back but for 2 weeks. The price for what you get is unbelievable. We cannot recommend Elsie’s cottage enough.

We knew we’d struck gold the minute we walked through the door of Elsie’s. It was the loveliest most well equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. Communication with Jane, the owner was excellent. We were there with the dog in a heatwave so spent a lot of time at the cottage which was an absolute pleasure. The nature reserve down the lane was perfect for early walks before the heat and even had its own hill for big views. Oh and the sunsets from the cottage are just wow! Can’t wait to return to see what else the area has to offer in cooler weather and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook Elsie’s.

Elsie’s Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. It is spotlessly clean, well equipped and has lovely warmth and character. All the extra little touches that Jane gives it add together to provide such a generous welcome.. I love it and have stayed repeatedly and would love to once again. This is how you do holiday letting!
