Jane went to great trouble to ensure that we had a good stay. She helped with directions, when we arrived in the dark and the kitchen was stocked with local treats. Loved the Victorian Sponge cake. I had to rush to an appointment early on the day of check out and Jane was very accommodating. The house is tastefully furnished, comfortable but not fusy. We felt that we could relax and the setting is private but not too remote. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and Jane had thoughtfully provided lovely toiletries, which I appreciated after a long flight.

We had a lovely stay at Elsie's Cottage, beautifully clean, very cosy and a lovely welcome pack. Plenty of tea, coffee, bread, milk,, loo rolls etc etc were provided to make our stay even better. The cottage is along a narrow hedged lane and very peaceful yet just couple of minutes to the local coop, pubs, chippy etc. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby such as Shrewbury, Ironbridge and Powis gardens. We have stayed in many cottages over the past 15 years, and it's right up there as the best we've stayed at.
