Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently mention the property being spotless and immaculate, indicating high standards of cleanliness. One isolated comment about dishes not being perfectly clean suggests a minor oversight rather than a common issue.

The location is frequently described as peaceful, with easy access to local attractions and towns. The scenic views and proximity to Shrewsbury, North Wales, and Liverpool are appreciated, although one mention of potential noise from a nearby road suggests a slight drawback.

The comfort of The Tractor Shed is a highlight, with numerous guests finding the beds extremely comfortable and the property cosy and relaxing. The spacious living area and luxurious touches contribute to an overall sense of comfort.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and cosy log burner. However, a few guests mention the lack of a shower and some minor maintenance issues, such as a broken toilet seat and water tap, which slightly affect the score.

While many reviews express gratitude for the hospitality and welcoming nature of the hosts, there are no specific mentions of gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness in terms of gifts, and the score is set to null.

Outstandingly clean. Comfortable seating and bed (we only used the elegant and large bed on the mezzanine which was fantastic). The view over the meadow whether outside or through the glass wall so relaxing. The place has the feel of a home, that of a really quirky artist friend who has elegant taste with a joy of rustic and bygone days and is letting you stay while they’re away. It had all you needed and enough space to be separate from each other even when together. The slipper bath, with a view of the field too – if the bathroom door was left open, created that sense of specialness. Great hosting and a marvellous farm shop, only a hop, skip and jump away, which like the hosts was unintrusive but there if needed. The quality and variety of the food and alcoholic beverages meant that we sourced all our perishable food groceries for the week there. Hopefully in the future we’ll be able to align our calendar with a Maynard’s butchery course (and stay again).
