There is a wooden support which is right in the middle of the access to front door which is a little tricky for those with mobility issues. The two downstairs bedrooms and bathroom are located down three wide steps. The upstairs bedroom access has steps up and down into it which go over a supporting beam - mentioned only for those with mobility issues and the upstairs en-suite was extremely small. The cottage had everything we needed in terms of facilities, the kitchen had all utensils and pans etc, so much so we had no storage for our shopping! Lovely week here and hosts were very helpful.

We visited Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Church Stretton and Hawkstone Park Follies, all of which were well worth visiting with lots to do and see. The cottage is large and has lots of quirky features, the downstairs being much cooler in the heat than the upstairs bedroom. A a fan would have been a welcome addition. The lounge and kitchen are spacious, with a log burner in the lounge. Which would be lovely in the winter, as it was hot we enjoyed being able to sit with the door open for fresh air. The hot water was very very hot so be careful if small children are in your party. A lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the country.

The granary is a lovely barn conversion so well done. We all loved the play barn and used it every day. The farmer and his family were lovely we loved feeding the calves every night and the farm cat soon made friends with our dog and came in every day. The granary is ideally positioned to visit all the tourist places, iron bridge was great. We would certainly love to book again.
