The Corn House is a two-storey cottage on a small farm, with lovely views over meadows and woodland. Accessed by a 250 metre private tarmac road right to the door, this brick-built cottage used to be the granary. It has been converted and equipped to a very good standard, with a large open-plan living area upstairs, from which a stable door leads to a raised outside seating area. Downstairs you have a comfortable double bedroom with kingsize bed, shower room, hall and enclosed porch with drying area and storage for coats, bikes etc. You also have private parking beside the cottage.
There is a good local pub in the village (10 minutes walk) and a bus service into Shrewsbury giving quick and easy access to main trunk roads and to Shropshire’s areas of outstanding natural beauty.

What a lovely cottage with a great view. Well equipped very clean and nicely furnished.Lovely helpful host who gave me a warm welcome. Quiet and peaceful area, the flax mill is well worth a visit amongst others. Chris

Very good accommodation ideal for exploring the local area, pub within walking distance that serves food Thursday to Sunday well frequented by locals. The accommodation has a nice outdoor seating area and is adjacent to a field with sheep in it. The accommodation is a upside down type with the bedroom and toilet facilities on ground floor and lounge and kitchen on the first floor.

The cottage was comfortable and clean and in a lovely rural location. Our hosts were welcoming and ensured we were happy with our stay. The gardens were in full bloom and looked beautiful, attracting loads of wild birds. Although in the countryside, the cottage is a 10 minute drive from a supermarket and other amenities including a park and ride for Shrewsbury. It is also close to A roads if you want to go further afield. There is loads to visit while in the area and we only saw a few of the best attractions so we would definitely consider staying here again.
