The property features two exceptional king rooms and two sleek shower rooms to save any queues. One bedroom rests on the ground floor with a zip and link feature, ideal for those with limited mobility or friends sharing, and the other on the first floor served by a sleek shower room. The garden is where your group can truly relax and unwind, with mood-elevating features like hot tubs, outdoor seating, and beautiful views of the countryside. When you don't feel like cooking, a short drive will take you to the nearby pub, The Green Man, for traditional pub grub, or can venture further for an excellent selection of restaurants dotted along the A51. If you're looking for a charming English town to explore, Stafford is the perfect place; start your visit at Stafford Castle, a beautifully preserved medieval fortress, then head to Wildwood Park, where you can stroll through the woods and admire the pretty Astonfields Balancing lakes. Don't miss the Doxey Marshes, a nature reserve teeming with birdlife, and be sure to visit The Ancient High House, the largest timber-framed house in England. Cross over the county border for a day out in Derbyshire; head into the city of Derby, a great place for shopping where you can find an abundance of eateries to keep you fuelled. Walkers and explorers may want to head into the stunning Peak District National Park for a day of hiking or cycling, followed by refreshments with spectacular views. Sandon is a small village and parish on the Trent, 4.5 miles northeast of Stafford. The Dog and Doublet Inn is a charming yet stylish gastro pub offering traditional hospitality in a warm and friendly ambiance. Enjoy a delicious meal, refreshing drinks, and a relaxing afternoon. Sandon Hall, set in 400 acres of beautiful parkland, is the ancestral home of the Harrowby family. Wedding open days, wine festivals, antiques valuation days, and Christmas fairs are examples.

Big parking area, private fenced off garden and patio, luxury wood fired hot tub which was big! With jets and LED's to enjoy an evening dip. Garden furniture to sit out and enjoy the view and sun. Big spacious living/dining/kitchen with a big fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and other utensils etc in the cupboards. Plates, bowls, cups, cutlery and place mats all provided in the unit by the dining table. Games under the tv cabinet, as well as badminton set under the stairs qhere the recycling bins and iron/ironing board are. The sofas were cosy and the log fire was gorgeous, although the weather was so nice during our visit it was too hot to use, but Jeff called over and asked of we wanted any fans, which we accepted. The bedrooms were spacious, and nice comfy double beds, the downstairs bedroom can be changed to 2 singles if needed, which Jeff asked before our visit. The bathrooms were really nice and underfloor heating! There was a welcome pack and booklet to ahow all local places including pubs, towns, walks etc. Which was so nice to have. And not forgetting jenkins, the cute little ginger cat who comes to visit often. All together it was a pleasure to visit and we will definitely be back. Thank you, jodie, kyle, Brandon and Patrice xx

Facilities were pristine, hot tub was incredible and the hosts were so thoughtful and kind. There we so many wonderful little touches that made our stay so easy and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend and canât wait to book again for a longer stay! Thank you Jeff and Anna!
