Sparrow Cottage in Stafford offers a comfortable and spacious stay, with a fully enclosed garden and friendly owners. Its proximity to Penkridge, walking trails, and a farm attraction adds charm, despite some noise during the day. Guests appreciate the excellent bathrooms and the location for family visits, though some noted minor issues with maintenance and noise.
There is insufficient information to accurately assess cleanliness, as reviews do not provide specific details on this aspect.
The location is generally praised for its proximity to Penkridge, walking trails, and family-friendly attractions. However, some guests mentioned noise from a nearby motorway and the farm attraction.
The cottage is described as comfortable and spacious, with a special mention of the fully enclosed garden. However, comfort is slightly marred by comments on a poor-quality mattress and noise issues.
Facilities are well-received with a great kitchen and excellent bathrooms, but there are concerns about maintenance, such as a greasy grill pan and a broken mattress spring. The provision of Wi-Fi via an iPad hotspot was also noted.
There are no mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness of the hosts in this regard.

Was ideal for a short stopover for family funeral at Stafford. Would have liked to look round Penkridge but time didn't allow but would definitely go back again when weather is better as it was a bit muddy because it's by the farm.
