A delightful three bedroom converted coach house in the centre of the picturesque Staffordshire village of Church Leigh, near the southern tip of the Peak District National Park. Set in the grounds of the owner’s home, this beautiful brick-built conversion is tastefully furnished throughout and is the perfect place for couples and families to enjoy a peaceful retreat or as a base to explore the surrounding countryside. The modern open plan kitchen and dining area with granite work surfaces and polished porcelain flooring is a fantastic space for socialising. From here French windows open into the sheltered courtyard and garden where children can play safely and you can sit in the sun and enjoy a glass of something refreshing with birds and church bells supplying the background music.
The sitting room is a comfortable and cosy place to sit and chat or just gaze into the mesmerising designer fireplace, a modern take on a log burning stove. The three bedrooms are furnished with quality beds and furniture and one has an en-suite shower room. The bathroom is light, contemporary and finished to a very high standard. Staying close to your home-from-home you can decide whether to be saint or sinner as one neighbour is the beautiful All Saints Church and the other is the village pub! If you can tear yourself away, venture a little further to explore Ashbourne with its narrow cobbled alleys, market stalls and coaching inns.

The only shop in the village is closed, the next nearest is about 3 miles away - a long walk for the daily paper or a pint of milk!

It is a gem of a place. The house was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed, and more besides. There was plenty of space for parking on the driveway. The hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was a lovely garden in the back, plus books, dvds, games etc for when the weather wasn't as good. Perfect for a relaxing break away.
Anne
There is a well equipped kitchen with space to accommodate and feed 6 adults. Comfortable beds, very quiet surroundings and private parking in courtyard shared with owners. Many thanks
