Lees Farm Apartment offers a spacious, well-equipped, and exceptionally clean stay in the tranquil Shropshire countryside. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting, characterful interiors, and warm welcome from the owners. While the rural location provides a relaxing escape, access via steep stairs may be challenging for those with mobility issues, and a car is essential for exploring the area. Overall, the apartment is ideal for those seeking comfort and quiet, with easy access to local attractions.
Multiple guests praised the apartment for being spotless, very clean, and well maintained throughout their stay.
The property is set in a beautiful, peaceful rural area with countryside views and proximity to attractions, though its remoteness means a car is necessary and local amenities are not within walking distance.
Guests found the apartment spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with quality bedding. However, steep stairs posed difficulties for older guests and those with mobility issues, and ventilation was a concern during hot weather.
The apartment is described as well equipped with all necessary facilities, though some guests noted limited window ventilation and challenging parking due to the rural setting.
Guests highlighted the owners as kind and welcoming, providing a warm reception and helpfulness. Please note that while some guests experienced exceptional hospitality, specific gifts or extras are not guaranteed.

Generally good but for senior guests there are problems of access to the apartment via two stairways. The ones into the apartment were exceptionally steep and narrow and dangerous for people with mobility issues. We experienced very hot weather on our stay and the lack of windows that could be opened caused health issues in the extreme heat both daytime and specially at night. The owners were absent through out our stay and we were largely left on our own. The local pub had closed and the nearest shops were in Bridgenorth 15 miles away. A car is essential in this rural area. If you like peace and quiet surrounded by open fields then this is the place to be. Car parking was difficult with just enough room for our small Vauxhall Corsa. The farm area is full of unused cars all with plates removed and appears to be some sort of vehicle storage site; no one about seemed to be in attendance, all very odd. Despite the heat we managed to explore this lovely area, Iron Bridge musems, Wales, Oswestry Iron Works, and the many antique shops. Would we stay again? No, the apartment access is too dangerous for senior visitors. The area in general is well worth exploring and will visit again.

A wonderful apartment, really comfortable and quiet with all facilities anyone could require. The stairs up though were a bit daunting for our 79 year old legs but there is a nice rest on the middle landing and we soon got used to it.Our thanks to Lawrence and Ruth for their help and welcome on our arrival.
