Guests say

The Wild Cherry Tree Retreat is a charming and homely cottage praised for its peaceful location and stylish interiors. Guests appreciate its proximity to Ironbridge and the responsive host. While some find it quirky and comfortable, others note issues with accessibility, maintenance, and practicality of furnishings.

Cleanliness receives mixed reviews. Some guests found the cottage clean and comfortable, while others reported issues such as unwashed sheets, dog hairs, and dirty kitchen items. The overall impression suggests room for improvement in cleaning standards.

The location is generally well-regarded, with guests appreciating the cottage's proximity to local attractions and the town of Ironbridge. However, concerns about accessibility due to steep steps and parking challenges slightly affect the score.

Comfort is acknowledged with mentions of comfy beds and a peaceful setting. However, some guests reported impractical furnishings, creaky beds, and low ceilings that impacted their comfort, leading to a moderate score.

Facilities are seen as adequate but with room for improvement. Guests mention a lack of kitchen equipment, maintenance issues, and a non-functional log burner. The property's charm does not fully compensate for these shortcomings.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness category accurately. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Lovely cottage, perfect for a family or group visiting the area.

The cottage was definitely cosy with a lovely interior and character. 2 of the bedrooms were lovely however the 3rd room with the single beds went very practical as they were very creaky and meant 2 of our guests were quite uncomfortable - however this would probably be fine for very small children.
