Perfect for nature lovers and stargazing. Colin and Jane were very friendly and helpful. Our highlights were watching the lambs playing in the field opposite the house and the Red kites giving us a fabulous hunting display.

The lambs and the scenery made it not just great but amazing too. Local pubs served decent food and were very welcoming and friendly. The hot tub was a welcome addition and everyone enjoyed themselves. A couple of small niggles that in no way detracted from the overall experience: There was no welcome pack on arrival. Maybe it’s because I have been spoilt, but wherever I have stayed in the past has always had milk/coffee/sugar/bread etc. but there was nothing, so a quick phone call was made to a late arrival. Also, a couple of people found the beds uncomfortable, but that’s maybe a personal preference. Overall, great place to stay and we would go again!

Plenty of room for everyone. Clean and peaceful with the added bonus of the hot tub.
