Guests consistently praise Applecroft for its peaceful setting, cleanliness, and welcoming hosts. The cottage's views, well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful touches, such as festive decorations and a welcome gift, contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. While some guests mention a firm mattress and the rural location, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Reviews frequently highlight the cleanliness of the property, with several guests awarding it top marks. The property is described as well-maintained and immaculate, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable, with ample space and a cosy atmosphere. However, a few guests mention firm mattresses and a desire for additional comfort features such as footstools, which slightly affects the overall comfort score.

Some minor issues are noted, such as loose dining table legs and the need for clearer instructions for the showers. The property's maintenance is well-regarded, with only occasional comments on specific items needing attention.
Guests often mention the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, including decorations and a welcome gift. While these are appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed with every stay.

We felt immediately at home and Emma was so lovely. The beds were a bit firm but that's personal preference. I'd definitely return and would recommend.
