Absolutely superb time had at the lodge. We were a group of 6 girls looking for a relaxing weekend away. On the first night it was lovely to arrive at a clean, warm lodge and we were delighted with the lovely welcoming gifts of cake, prosecco and all the essentials. The next day we did decide to venture out but hit a small issue on the driveway due to the snow and ice but the owner Dave was quick to come and help towing us out. We promptly returned to the lodge and straight back in the hot tub for sunset. An idyllic weekend away and would definitely return, great house with even better hosts!

An excellent stay! Lovely welcome from our hosts, with lots of thoughtful touches - even our dogs were made super-welcome! The Dower House Lodge is modern & homely with great facilities. The property was warm and cosy despite the icy weather, and hot water was plentiful. The kitchen is pretty well equipped & there’s plenty of storage. The bedrooms are a highlight & they were perfect for our group. Towels and linens all of a high standard, as are the bathrooms (though a blind in the downstairs shower room would be a welcome addition ☺️)The hot tub is fantastic, our only suggestion would be a path to improve access & perhaps some lighting.Overall we were absolutely delighted with the property, its idyllic setting & high standard of accommodation made it the perfect place for a winter getaway - we were sad to leave!

We booked Dower House Lodge for a family Christmas, it was beautifully decorated and looked very magical with the lights on the approach and the family bedroom with its own tree in addition to all the decorations downstairs was the icing on the cake for the children. We also didn't need to bring any games as there were plenty available to use. There was lots of space for 8 people and the open plan kitchen and lounge worked really well. There was plenty of parking but as others have commented on cars with low suspension would need to be careful using the shared drive to reach Dower Lodge but we had no issues in a van and family cars and there were repairs being done.We loved the hot tub, which was very clean and well maintained and in the summer the garden would be very well used as there is lots of space and different areas, including a fire pit and lovely views. You do need to bring flip flops or similar if using the hot tub as you have to cross a lawned area to reach it which was a bit muddy after lots of rain.Communication from the hosts was very good and the bottle of fizz and Christmas log on arrival were very much appreciated. Dower House Lodge is close to Tenbury Wells, which has everything you need including several independent shops and 2 excellent butchers.We would love to return and gutted as its already booked for next Christmas! Highly recommended.
