We thoroughly enjoyed our break at the Dower House Lodge. It was idyllic & quiet, which was ideal. The property was lovely & the owners were quick to reply to any questions we had. Our dog enjoyed running around the garden!! Would certainly think about coming here again.

Just got back from an amazing 10 days at Dower House Lodge. From the moment we arrived to find a bottle of Prosecco nicely chilled in the fridge alongside a litre of milk and a delicious cake it felt like home. As we had our 18 month old grandson with us it was great to see stair gates at both the top and bottom of the stairs and a very comfy mattress in the travel cot along with a blanket. Him and his 5 year old brother revelled in the garden and orchard which backed on to a field of grazing sheep. The boys certainly gave the swing and the slide an endurance test which they passed with flying colours. The hot tub was a very relaxing feature which was also well used during our stay. Dower House Lodge is an idyllic family holiday home , we'd go as far as to say it's probably the best we've stayed in over the years.Thank you Nikki and Dave
