I've stayed here a couple of times over the last 10 years. The cottage is located at the every end of a single-tracked road, opposite the owners house. Parking for 1 car, or two smaller vehicles. The cottage itself is quite dated and tired now, but it's clean, warm and quite charming in its own way. There is 4G "broadband" if you ask the owners, but I simply tethered the TV to my own mobile phone for YouTube, Freely, Netflix etc.I stayed during a cold snap with frost and snow at the end of my stay, but the open fire and the Economy 7 heating kept me warm. The shower was set to "max" but only ever got warm - you can boost the water heater if there are more than 2 staying, I didn't need to. Remember to bring towels, as they're not provided. The garden, even in winter, was full of wildlife - squirrels, crows, a couple of robins and other small birds were nice to look at when pouring a glass of wine or loading the dishwasher. The fast-flowing river provided the odd sighting of a heron. The views across the river looking west is lovely too. Private fishing too, if that's your thing. At night, I could hear birds roosting on the roof, and possibly in the attic space, initially quite startling as with all the lights out and no street lighting outside, you are in full darkness! However, that was only for a night or two, thereafter, the cottage was completely silent at night, save the odd bleating from the sheep in another field. In summary, the Mill is a great "get away from it all" location. However, the mill is not a luxurious retreat nor does it pretend to be, so adjust your expectations and enjoy it.

I'm afraid the property really now needs a refresh every where. The place had loads of flies and insects in it when we arrived that needed removing and it really has been left for to long now with out refreshing every thing, even for us Fishermen. There is also a few local residents in the loft that need getting rid of. TV etc could do with working remotes and HDMI ports.

Lovely old historic Mill, gorgeous location on the banks of the river Teme. Quiet & relaxing, just the sounds of the river. Fishing right from your own back garden!
