The historically restored Droitwich Spa Lido offers open-air saltwater swimming, toddler splash areas, hot showers and a well-stocked café selling delicious homemade cakes. The riverside town of Bewdley is a short drive away, whilst a long drive takes you to the historic villages of Broadway, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold - these pretty Cotswold Stone cottages are steeped in history, some dating back to the time of the Romans, with a wealth of independent eateries and shops - a great way to spend the day in quintessential England.
