  There were a few issues with the property.

  The living area and dining area were very comfortable and we enjoyed the river views. The house was very warm. - the stairs are very steep and unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. -There is no welcome pack, not even a pint of milk. -There are no toiletries whatsoever - there are no bedside tables so everything must be put on the floor -there is no dressing table -strange silver mini sofa in bedroom where there could be a dressing table. - extremely poor shower performance - soiled oven gloves - dirty stained sponge in bathroom, presumably to clean the bath? - silicone around shower is stained and tatty - used sponge for washing up in kitchen - no coffee table or side tables - chipped paint on 'silver' painted plastic mirror in bathroom - sticky stain under kitchen bin - dust around bath - mattresses are very hard It generally looked a little tatty and tired and could definitely do with some tidying up and a thorough clean. I don't like saying these things but we were disappointed. the photos on your site show a nest of tables and a fire in the living room but neither of these items exist.

  La casa è tipica inglese,su 3 piani. Al piano terra ingresso in una piccolissima sala, cucina lunga e stretta,tinello, un bagno e un piccolo cortile. Al primo piano 2 camere da letto, una matrimoniale con bagno privato e 1 con due letti separati. Al terzo piano una camera matrimoniale con un piccolissimo bagno (un wc e un mini lavandino maleodorante). La casa in sé potrebbe essere carina anche se le stanze non sono grandi come sembrano in foto e le scale sono molto ripide. Non tato semplice portare al primo e secondo piano le valigie.Abbiamo purtroppo trovato la casa molto sporca.Capelli e peli sui cuscini e cucina veramente sporca. Sul tavolo cerano ancora le briciole degli inquilini precedenti! La posizione è abbastanza comoda e il centro si raggiunge in poco tempo. Non è possibile parcheggiare in zona senza un permesso che è stato richiesto dal nostro guest. Nonostante questo abbiamo preso una multa da 70 sterline. Guest gentili e disponibili ci hanno dato supporto tramite chat.

  Good location, walkable to train stations and city centre, in a fairly quiet residential area close to the canal. House fairly spacious. Washing machine and tumble dryer, although no line outside for drying. Parking permit included, even if it was tricky finding a parking space. The house was not very clean, the carpets, rugs and crockery being particularly dirty. Odd bits missing, like enough mugs for all guests. When we arrived all radiators had been turned up to full volume, so very hot house in high-20s degrees late-July. I found it a disappointing and irresponsible use of energy, especially since we didn't know how long it had been like that before we came. Host was friendly and responded quickly. I think it's very cheeky charging an additional deposit/waiver off Airbnb with a third party after booking, in addition to the price listed. Especially with the deposit being so high (£250), and from an Internet search with it taking weeks to have it returned

  On arrival there was a strong smell in the driveway and I think from the overgrown bushes. Entrance carpet was dirty/stained and then the freezer compartments were dirty. Cleanliness was probably a 6.5/10 so we cleaned the kitchen. Grass in the garden was probably 40cm long and unusable. Patio table and chairs were dirty and unusable - same as we had som nice days. Contacted them and they couldn't do anything about the grass and didn't come to clean the table. So that soured the stay. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were good. Kitchen lacked things such as a coffee maker, so we purchased a French press and the knives were as dull as a spoon! The milk that they provide was 9 single serve UHTs. A little disappointing overall and not what we are used to in AirBnBs, but we made it work and the location was convenient for us. It's a good home, but appears they do just enough to rent it.
