Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently note the property's immaculate condition upon arrival, with several reviews highlighting the spotlessness and well-prepared state of the cottage.

The cottage is appreciated for its quiet setting off the main road, central location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, and proximity to local shops, pubs, and restaurants. Some guests mention the urban feel and nearby busy road, but this does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback on location.

Reviews frequently mention the comfortable beds, quality furnishings, and cosy atmosphere of the cottage. A few guests found the beds and pillows too firm, but this is a minor point in the context of otherwise glowing comments on comfort.

The property is praised for being well-equipped, with a special mention of the quality kitchenware and useful appliances. Some guests suggested additional crockery and minor improvements, but overall, the facilities are highly regarded. The mention of a blocked shower drain in one review suggests a slight deduction for maintenance.

Guests are delighted by the thoughtful touches such as a welcome tray with treats, although it is politely noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed. The secure garden and provision of essentials like dishwasher tablets also demonstrate consideration for guests' needs.

One of the best we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot!

The spacious patio area was very relaxing having privacy by tasteful fencing and well tended shrubs and planters. There were plenty of nearby places to eat out and vegan and gluten free options were catered for. There was so much to see and do in the area and the scenery while travelling was stunning.

Lots to do in the area only problem was finding it ! Could do with better instructions in Cross Hills. We had read in a review it was near the co op and opposite a butchers. So we parked in the co op and went to find it on foot first as traffic was very busy. Once we knew where it was everything was perfect.
