Move through to the kitchen/diner, satisfying your culinary needs with a host of integrated appliances, here you can prepare home-cooked dishes, whether it be a hearty breakfast or divine supper. When the weathers on your side, make the most of the enclosed courtyard with a family barbecue or enjoy a dip in the alluring hot tub under the night sky. On the first floor there are three tasteful bedrooms to choose from, including two doubles, one with Smart TV, and a twin, served by a bathroom with choice of bath and shower over. Continue up a final flight of stairs to the master bedroom, boasting a generous king-size bed and Smart TV, plus an en-suite shower for privacy. The village of Cross Hills is home several shops for picking up the essentials, along with a selection of eateries catering to all palates, ideal for when you fancy a night away from the kitchen. While in the area, be sure to explore miles of stunning routes amidst the Yorkshire Dales National Park, taking in the mesmerizing scenery of the ancient woodland and moorland. Within five miles there is the market town of Skipton, home to some fascinating attractions including Victorian buildings on the cobbled streets over to the historic National Trust owned East Riddlesden Hall or hop on the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Light Railway, ideal for a scenic journey over to the village of Oxenhope. A stay at Midway House is sure to bring long-lasting memories.

This charming community, Cross Hills, is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, just a picturesque car ride from the bustling city of Leeds and the world-famous village of Haworth. The hamlet features a bustling centre with stores, cafés, and other eateries, as well as a variety of small businesses offering everything you might possibly need during your stay in Yorkshire. Skipton, known as the "Gateway to the Dales," is a little further out and gives the chance to visit an 11th century castle, old woodlands, and winding alleyways filled with excellent amenities. The town of Keighley, in the opposite direction, is home to the heritage steam line made famous by the 1970s film 'The Railway Children.' The literary paradise of Haworth is also within easy reach, where you can see the famed Bront sisters' home and the surrounding moorland that inspired their iconic writings. If you're feeling energetic, head to the Yorkshire Dales, where you'll find a plethora of walking and cycling paths set against breathtaking landscape, as well as opportunities to sample local delicacies like Wensleydale cheese and tour one of the National Park's many breweries. Cross Hills offers to be an excellent starting point for exploring this lovely section of Yorkshire.

    My wife and I stayed on the top floor with the ensuite shower room. The kids then stayed in the remaining 3 bedrooms and used the family bathroom. They particularly enjoyed having a smart TV in their rooms and that stopped any squabbling. We used the hot tub every night throughout our stay. There are plenty of eateries within walking distance of the house and the Co-op being over the road was also very convenient. We will definitely consider returning to Midway house regards David & family

    There were 7 of us staying there and we were all very comfortable. The house had everything we needed and the added bonus of having full sky TV was great. Location was fantastic, short taxi ride into Skipton but the village had lots of pubs, restaurants, shops etc. There was a bus stop across the road from the house. I have feed some issues back directly to the owner as I feel that these should not reflect the house as it is really nice. Would definitely go back.

    There were a few maintenance issues which the owner dealt with promptly. The kitchen and dining areas are better suited to families with children as only 5 people could sit around the table. We were a party of 6 adults and catering was a little cramped.. All in all Medway house is good value and the hot tub welcome after a day on the hills.
