Guests say

Ryecroft Barn is a spacious and well-maintained property with comfortable beds and a welcoming atmosphere. It is situated in a great location for country walks and local amenities. Guests have appreciated the cleanliness, the generous room sizes, and the warm welcome pack. While some minor improvements are suggested, the property has provided memorable stays for families and groups.

The property has been consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests noting it was spotlessly clean upon arrival. However, there were isolated comments about a dank smell in one room and some overlooked areas.

The location is praised for its access to country walks and local amenities. However, the approach road and adjacent building site have been noted as drawbacks by some guests.

Guests have found the beds very comfortable and the rooms spacious. The conservatory was a highlight for its light and space, although some guests mentioned issues with steps and handrails that could affect comfort for those with mobility issues.

The property offers adequate facilities with a few areas for improvement. Guests have mentioned issues with water pressure, hot water supply, and kitchen equipment. The replacement of an oven and the presence of a second fridge/freezer were positively noted.

While guests have mentioned a welcome pack, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures such as gifts. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such amenities will be provided for every stay.

Slightly far from the starting point but we had absolutely loved the accommodation and had dearly wished that we taken an extra day to soak in the house. We were slightly apprehensive prior to arriving at the property due to the recent reviews, but the place turned out to be better than expected though I can understand what some people might feel towards the amount of notes placed around the house. It was a warm and very spacious house. However, it should be noted that the toilet downstairs is not easily lockable, and one of the ensuite room's toilet is doorless too. The pots/pans are on the worn out side so might have struggled a little in terms of cooking had we needed to stay in the house for meals frequently. Despite all that, we had absolutely loved the conservatory, felt like a sauna under the gorgeous sun we had over the weekend, and the rooms were spacious. I would go back again to this place if I am ever in the area, especially if more locks and better cookery are added. Thank you very much!
