Guests appreciate the peaceful location and wildlife at the cottage, highlighting its cleanliness and helpful staff. While some maintenance issues are noted, such as the pool and games room, the property's remote charm and potential for a comfortable stay are evident.
The property is generally described as clean, particularly the house itself. However, there are mentions of a dirty swimming pool which affects the score.
The location is praised for its peacefulness and proximity to nature, with walks right from the doorstep. The remote aspect is seen as a positive by some, though it may not suit everyone.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While the property is considered comfortable by some, issues with worn sofas, a mattress needing replacement, and draftiness are concerns that affect the comfort level.
Facilities are a point of contention, with several maintenance issues reported such as heating problems, missing pool tiles, and damaged games equipment. The lack of a gym, despite previous statements, also impacts this score.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Lovely week staying at Struncheon Hill Farm. Lovely location with walks right from the doorstep, the dogs loved it.Well equipped cottage., comfortable for eight of us. Kitchen was well equipped although needs a measuring jug. Also really needs a new shower head in the downstairs shower, and a screen and wall mounted shower over the bath. The drains do smell, quite overpowering at times but we put up with this as the cottage was lovely. The pool is great, although nearly all of us injured our feet on the missing tiles. The site itself is lovely, allthough the pathways needed weeding desperately. No issues with WiFi, the tv is small and not a smart TV but we didn't even turn this on once so not an issue for us.Lovely week and we will return.
