In a tranquil, rural setting, this charming semi-detached cottage lies in the East Riding of Yorkshire, a short drive from the popular seaside town of Hornsea and the historic market town of Beverley. Tastefully furnished and renovated to a high standard, it provides a wonderful holiday home for families and friends to explore both the Yorkshire Wolds and the coast. Warm and welcoming, the sitting room has comfy sofas, with a cosy woodburning stove to relax by. At the back of the property is a bright and spacious, modern L shaped kitchen with a handy breakfast bar, a dining table and additional comfortable seating - a lovely sociable area to gather and plan the next days outing. Upstairs, are three modern chic bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower and all with pleasant views over the countryside. The extensive, enclosed lawned garden offers a secure space for children and dogs to play, with two separate seating areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine and the added benefit of a bubbling hot tub in which to relax in after a busy day sight seeing, walking or cycling. Close by is Burton Constable Hall and gardens, well worth a visit, Close by is the old market town of Hedon popular Forest Church, pubs and shops, whilst the short drive to Hornsea brings you to a traditional seaside resort with long sandy beaches, a variety of interesting shops and a good selection of restaurants and country pubs. For something different take a trip to Hornsea Mere which is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Take a visit to Hull for a day out, which was the City of Culture for 2017 and is home to The Deep Aquatic Centre. Be sure to take a day trip to York, an hours drive, with its famous Minster, Jorvic Viking Museum and medieval streets. Alternatively, head south east to Spurn Point and enjoy some renowned bird watching. With so much to do in the vicinity, this gorgeous property will pull you back time after time.
Burton Constable is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, an interesting area with coastal attractions, old halls and gardens and a plethora of countryside walks. Don't miss an opportunity to explore Burton Constable Hall and Grounds; the woodland and parkland walks follow wildlife trails. Meander through the rooms within the property and uncover 500 years of history, there is also a tearoom and gift shop to delight any visitor. The city centre of Hull is north-east of Burton Constable, boasting museums and galleries all free to visit, cities tours and a variety of theatres hosting an array of shows.
