The presence of farm animals adds a charming touch, and the property is well-equipped for a family stay. Some guests noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance, but these seem to be exceptions in an otherwise highly regarded property.
While many guests found the property comfortable and well-equipped, there were several mentions of cleanliness issues such as dust, dead flies, and sticky surfaces. However, these comments are not consistent across all reviews, suggesting that cleanliness may vary.
The location is frequently praised for its tranquillity and proximity to lovely walks and countryside. It is well-placed for visiting the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, although some guests missed having a pub within walking distance.

The property is generally well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen and additional amenities like hairdryers and Netflix. However, some guests encountered issues with appliances and maintenance, such as a broken lever and confusion over the oven's operation.
Several guests were pleased with thoughtful touches like tea, milk, and biscuits on arrival. While these gestures are appreciated, it is important to note that such amenities are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Never been to the area before but was well placed for Yorkshire Dale's and Lancashire. Been self catering for over 35 years and this was one of the most well equipped, clean and spacious places I've stayed in. The reception was so friendly and helpful with lots of guides to the area. Enjoyed it so much already booked again for next year.
