Set in the heart of Wensleydale in the market town of Leyburn, this semi-detached property provides stylish and spacious holiday accommodation. With parking for two cars and Leyburn right on the doorstep, you can simply park up and leave the car behind. A modern-style cosy living room with quality furniture and comfortable seating is set around an electric wood burner. Walk through to a spacious kitchen/dining room with slate tiled floor, fit with all the modern appliances you will need for your stay. An extending dining table comfortably seats up to six people, making this a perfect space to sit and chat over a glass of wine while preparing food.
Upstairs are three well furnished bedrooms with comfortable beds and attractive bed linen and accessories. Bedroom 1 is a double bedroomwith fitted wardrobes and a fully tiled en-suite shower room, bedroom 2 has fitted wardrobes and a feature double bed with attractive brass frame, and bedroom 3 is a cute bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a single bed in a beautiful cream frame. A separate fully tiled bathroom with bath and overhead showeris also on this floor. To the rear of the property is an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture and a shed/ bike store.
The market town of Leyburn is a short stroll away with quaint shops, cafés, traditional pubs and a weekly farmers market on a Friday. It is the perfect base for guests wishing to enjoy a walking, cycling, sightseeing or family holiday. With a supermarket and an award-winning delicatessen, wine merchant, butchers and greengrocers, you have everything here you will need.
Stroll along the famous Leyburn Shawl walk to Castle Bolton, take in Middleham Castle, Constable Burton Hall Gardens and the nearby stunning Aysgarth Falls. A short drive away is Hardraw, home to England’s highest unbroken waterfall. Alternatively, take the Wensleydale Vintage Bus to Ripon or Hawes, or ride the train on the Wensleydale Railway. The nearby Forbidden Corner attraction in Coverdale brings you a trail of follies for all the family to enjoy. Visit the Georgian market town of Richmond, which offers many shops, restaurants, pubs and tea shops. A circular walk will take you from the station around the riverbanks, taking in the famous Norman castle. Nearby Hawes is well worth a day out with so much here to explore and lots of picture postcard villages on the way. Shop, pub and restaurant 550 yards.

Cottages.com are a great company sorted problem immediately Bankside is a lovely house but rooms upstairs are very small no room around beds. En-suite so small. Cobwebs everywhere. Had to move drawers to get to plugs very dirty behind. Bedding very disappointing . I’m sure the owner would be very disappointed with the cleaning
