This beautiful apartment is situated in a converted watermill which dates back to the 17th century. Situated within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with views over the Walden Beck and a stone’s throw away from the beautiful waterfall. West Burton is a friendly, picturesque Dales village set around a large village green. It offers a superb base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and its many attractions, with beautiful walks right from the door. The market towns of Leyburn and Hawes, plus Bolton Castle and Aysgarth Falls are just a short drive away. Fishing is available nearby. At the end of the day, the village pub is just a short stroll across the green from Cauldron Falls, where you can sample a pint of ale and take in the atmosphere. Located nearby is a village shop selling essentials and a butchers selling local meat. There are a variety of local pubs, cafes, and ice cream parlours within 4 miles of the apartment.

Unfortunate housekeeping issues (detailed in the visitors book). TV incredibly complicated to work. Shower cubicle quite tight, wouldn't suit large people! Accurate details for arrival and key location/key code. Location excellent, very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable bed. Kitchen well equiped. Safe, allocated, off-road parking. Lovely village with superb butcher. Pub very good; extensive menu, food good value. Wonderful walking in the local area. Whilst we were there the falls were in full spate – magnificent!

What a fabulous property! Beautifully laid out, lovely decor, very well equipped and easy parking. So close to the falls that you can wander down with your morning cuppa and immerse yourself in the sound of rushing water. We would happily book this property again.
