The Old Mission Hall in Richmond is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and tasteful decor. The property's proximity to town and scenic walks adds to its charm, despite some minor maintenance issues and the steep walk to town. Overall, it offers a delightful stay with responsive hosts.
Guests consistently describe the property as 'spotlessly clean', 'pristine', and 'super clean', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is frequently highlighted as 'wonderful', 'perfect', and 'quiet', with easy access to town and local attractions. The steep walk to town is noted, but it does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.
Comfort is a strong point, with numerous guests mentioning 'extremely good beds & bedding', 'very comfortable' living spaces, and a 'cozy' atmosphere. One review mentioned discomfort with the sofa and bed positioning, but this seems an outlier.
Facilities are generally well-received, with ample kitchenware and a good living space. Some guests noted issues with water supply, Wi-Fi, and a lack of instructions for appliances, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.
While the reviews reflect positive experiences with the host's responsiveness and the property's amenities, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Loved the little touches that made staying, with younger family members, easier such as plastic plates being available plus a washer/dryer to. The property really is well placed in the town of Richmond and my children loved being able to see a castle from the house. Our only issues were the WiFi didn't really work however I didn't get in touch with the owner about it, as it wasn't integral to our stay as obviously we were out & about. Plus the door frames were dustier than expected to. However I would happily stay again here and have recommended to my family and friends to stay too.

The cottage was beautiful and in such a perfect location for our family. We would definitely stay again. The host was so helpful too, she got in touch with me the day before our arrival and recommended a few things to take the children to which was really helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again.
