At the heart of the space, the well-appointed kitchen features a central island and breakfast bar seating, creating a sociable hub where everyone can gather while meals are prepared. Step outside and robes hanging beside the hot tub invite you to sink into the bubbles while admiring the far-reaching coastal views.

The glass seating pod provides another exceptional place to sit back and watch the sea whatever the weather. From the open-plan living space, discover the older part of the house, which adds character and individuality to the property. Here, a ground-floor shower room offers added convenience, while carpeted stairs lead to a family bedroom with three single beds, making it an excellent choice for younger guests or friends sharing. Back in the newer section, open-tread stairs rise to the upper floor, where a spacious bathroom awaits with a freestanding bath, walk-in shower, bidet and heated towel rail. Start the day with a refreshing shower or enjoy a leisurely soak before heading out to explore.

A twin bedroom can also be found on this floor, while the magnificent master bedroom provides a real highlight. Featuring a king-size bed, dressing table and a pair of armchairs perfectly positioned to take in the sea views, it is a wonderful place to begin and end each day. A welcoming pub can be reached with a pleasant walk from the property, while a shop is only a short drive away for stocking up on essentials. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (rspb Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
