Captain’s Retreat was extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. We loved it. The holiday village is well maintained and ideally situated with access to a beautiful beach. We really enjoyed a circular walk with the dogs along the beach and back along the cliff, with a great beach cafe half way at Humanby Gap. We also enjoyed Bempton Cliffs (RSPB)where we saw puffins nesting. The only disappointment was the food at the pub on site. Long wait and very disappointing when it came.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Captains Retreat, the property was excellent in all respects. Parking on site could could be a problem--the people who manage the site need to look at this very carefully but also some drivers needs to take lessons in how to park.
