We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Captains Retreat, the property was excellent in all respects. Parking on site could could be a problem--the people who manage the site need to look at this very carefully but also some drivers needs to take lessons in how to park.

Cottage was lovely. Ideal setting with beach just a 15 minute walk from the Bay resort. Filey only a 10 minute if that car drive away. Ideally situated to visit Whitby, Scarborough & Flamborough. The cottage was very clean & well maintained. Had everything you needed. Great pub on site good food. Definitely recommend to anybody who wanted a nice little getaway

So good and useful having 3 toilets. Had a lovely stay and had all the recourses needed to make it as enjoyable and practical as possible.
