Offering light and airy accommodation, this Filey cottage is perfectly situated for families wanting to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday in this delightfully quaint seaside town. Finished to a high standard, this Filey cottage has a bright and modern kitchen, with granite worktops and a small dining area, whilst the sitting room is traditionally furnished and has patio doors opening onto the secure rear garden. With three tasteful bedrooms and a contemporary bathroom, this Filey cottage makes a very comfortable holiday home. A five minute walk brings you to the town centre, where there is a variety of tea rooms, pubs and independent shops, whilst a ten minute walk brings you to the seafront. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade with its brightly coloured beach huts, ornamental gardens and cafes or build sandcastles on the wonderful, long sandy beach, where you can walk for miles. Close to this Filey cottage lies a country park and an animal sanctuary, whilst nearby Flamborough is well worth a visit with its high chalk cliffs, packed with nesting sea birds. Great secure garden for the dogs and plenty of space in the hall for their beds. Minor issues for feedback - kick boards under kitchen cupboards/oven need securing (fell off/over while cleaning), front double bedroom has a musty smell (no obvious source), freezer needs defrosting, kettle needs descaling and one of the bath towels appeared to have dodged the wash. Some confusion on arrival regarding access as initially unable to contact the owner as advised by Sykes. Fortunately the caretaker lady was briefly returning to the property and gave us the code! The minor issues did not detract from it being a great stay and we have already rebooked for next year!

Very clean and comfortable . Lovely spot close to the beach and town . Was able to place the dogs beds in the hall near the front door . Where they slept securely at night with all doors closed . Secure garden . Recommend the Station Hotel for meals . 15 mins walk from the property varied menu everything well cooked and presented . We would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends .

Up grade the television to smart tv, especially useful in winter months. Supply cleaning spray to wipe surfaces etc, helps to keep clean, I had to go and buy my own. Thank you.
