Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Say Shell is a mid-terraced cottage which sits on a quiet side street in the heart of the bustling seaside town of Filey on the East Riding coastline. If you are looking for a seaside short break or a longer holiday with family and friends, then this cottage is the one for you.
Step inside and Say Shells has a lovely and welcoming feel to it. The cosy sitting room is at the front of the property and offers a large sofa and a selection of armchairs; here you can enjoy a night in front of the fire watching your favourite holiday movie. French doors open into a spacious dining room which offers plenty of seating for four. Look through the internal window and see how bright and airy the newly installed kitchen is. Retreat upstairs and two well-appointed bedrooms offer a double and super kingsize options. The house bathroom has real character with a sloping ceiling.
Head out for the day and Filey is just on the doorstep. There is a rich selection of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants as well as a choice of supermarkets, bakeries and butchers. You will also find shops selling traditional holiday trinkets down towards the beach. In under 10 minutes, you will find yourself down on the golden sands. Here you can walk for miles or simply lay out a rug and soak up the sun’s rays.
A little further afield is the beautiful Yorkshire countryside including the unspoilt Yorkshire Wolds. Should you bring your bikes to enjoy a holiday on two wheels; Say Shells provides a bike store. Why not enjoy a day exploring some of the county’s grand houses; Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and Castle Howard should not be missed.

We ;had a really lovely stay at Say Shells, the accomodations was perfect, absoutely spotless and ideally situated to explore Filey and the beach on foot. It is no wonder people return because it is so nice, and the hosts has added the extra touches, like books to read, games to play if the weather isn't good. We will be booking again. Highly recommended.
