Guests say

The Spencer Suite offers modern, stylish accommodation in a peaceful and convenient location, ideal for exploring Scarborough and nearby resorts. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, well-equipped kitchen, and the option to privately book spa facilities. The site is dog-friendly with a great exercise field and a welcoming bar. Some areas for improvement include sofa and bedding cleanliness, TV reliability, and comfort for additional guests. Overall, it provides a relaxing base for couples or small families seeking a short break.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, but several mentioned issues with stained sofas, dirty spare bedding, and a mattress that needed cleaning. These concerns were balanced by positive comments about the general cleanliness of the suite and site.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to local attractions, beaches, and amenities. Guests found it a handy base for exploring the area and appreciated the peaceful setting.

While the suite is described as modern and spacious for two, multiple reviews note that the sofa bed is uncomfortable and not suitable for extra guests. The main bedroom is comfortable, but the living area could be improved for additional occupants.

Facilities such as the private pool, sauna, and bar are well received, and the kitchen is well equipped. However, issues with the TV, lack of some amenities (like an iron and hairdryer), and maintenance concerns (e.g., extractor fan, tired kids' area) were noted.

There are no mentions of welcome gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Lovely open plan suite on a lovely clean site.. Lovely open plan suite with plenty of space,in a great location to get to all area's- filey bridlington flambrough light house, its a beautiful clean site, peaceful & quiet even though its located opposite s club & restaurant,we had a drink & a few games of bingo on sunday night, we had a good fun night in the club, never ate in restaurant, we had a lovely breaky at spital farm just opposite site off the roundabout, clean & tidy suite lots of light flooding in, would stay again if they sorted the tv out.. Tv was terrible it had a mind of its own & was very slow, took forever to come on or change channels, volume kept going down ,which was very annoying.. after long walks with your dog you just want to sit & relax & watch abit of tv which was a big problem, esp when your paying £135 a night for a boutique suite you expect at least a good tv, plp have complained in previous reviews about it, so it should of been sorted, cutlery was flimsy & bendy which is an annoyance of mine, buy good quality cutlery & it lasts forever instead of having to replace it,an air fryer would of been good also, there cheap enough now & most places we've stayed at have had one, sofa in living room was stained could have been easily cleaned & it was uncomfortable..

Just got back from a 5 night stay. The accommodation itself was clean, a decent size space and modern looking. Well equipt for cooking but needs an ironing board/iron and a hairdryer. It's advertised as 'boutique' so you would expect these as standard. A couple of things didn't work or were faulty such as the extractor fan in the kitchen and the TV had a mind of it's own which was annoying but other than that we were happy with the accommodation. Staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Service with a smile at all times. We loved that we could hire the pool and spa facilities privately for an hour. This was a big plus for us as our little boy is Autistic and a quieter setting suits him better. The bar area was lovely and modern however the kids area at the back and the toilets were tired looking and in need of an upgrade. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! Overall we had a lovely relaxing stay and came home feeling like we had had a nice relaxing break.
