This luxurious holiday home sits amongst the picturesque landscape of the North York Moors National Park. The property sleeps six guests and is perfect for both large families and groups of friends, with an open-plan, sociable interior and a magnificent outdoor space for entertaining. The pretty village of Sleights is 0.5 miles away, and has a collection of cute shops, a tearoom, and a cosy pub. You’ll also be just 4.5 miles from Whitby.
As you enter the stunning property, you will be greeted by a hamper full of local treats. Once inside, discover a gorgeous, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a beautiful beamed ceiling and far-reaching rural views from its many windows. Spend time here, rustling up tasty dishes in the sleek kitchen area to enjoy together at the oak dining table. After dinner, sink into the sumptuous sofas to watch the Smart TV in the glow of the wood burner. Upstairs, you’ll find an elegant king-size bedroom with a free-standing bath in the room, as well as an en-suite shower room. There are two further bedrooms – a king-size and a twin – and all bedrooms have Smart TVs and tranquil views across the Esk Valley. A luxurious shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, soak up the sunshine and jaw-dropping views on the glass-fronted balcony.
Whitby, 4.5 miles away, is full of rugged, coastal charm and makes an excellent family day out. Wander amongst the cobbled streets of the old town, perusing the boutiques and galleries for souvenirs, before climbing the iconic 199 steps to St Mary’s church and the atmospheric ruins of Whitby Abbey, or taking a stroll along one of the sandy beaches. There are some beautiful coastal walks from Whitby, including the 7-mile stretch of the Cleveland Way to the picture-postcard village of Robin Hood’s Bay.
