The property sits on the edge of the pretty village of Sleights, which has local shops, a tearoom and a pub, and you’ll also be just 4.5 miles from the seaside town of Whitby. After a day of adventure, come together for an al fresco meal on the balcony and admire the breathtaking views across the Esk Valley.
A warm welcome awaits in this beautiful holiday home, which is decorated in neutral tones and boasts stunning countryside views. On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a hamper of tasty treats, along with other little touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The heart of the home is a lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can spend quality time together cooking delicious feasts and gathering around the oak dining table for memorable mealtimes. After dinner, watch a movie on the Smart TV and warm your toes by the wood burner in the lounge area. Upstairs, discover a king-size bedroom with a free-standing bath in the room, as well as an en-suite shower room. There is also a king-size bedroom and a twin, and all bedrooms have Smart TVs. A family shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, a glass-fronted balcony awaits, where you can dine under the stars and soak up the tranquil surroundings.
The charming coastal town of Whitby makes a fabulous day out. Potter around the cobbled streets of the old town, popping into the boutiques and galleries, before climbing the 199 steps to St Mary’s church and the evocative ruins of Whitby Abbey. From here, the coast path leads you along the Cleveland Way to the smuggler’s haunt of Robin Hood’s Bay – a picture-postcard village with a beautiful beach and great array of independent eateries.
