Guests have had delightful stays at 4 Maypole Green, praising its tasteful decoration, exceptional views, and comfortable beds. The property's cleanliness and modern amenities, including Netflix, contribute to a home-from-home experience. Its proximity to Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, and local pubs adds to its charm, although some guests noted minor issues with facilities and maintenance.
The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with high standards of cleanliness that even the pickiest of guests found satisfactory. There was a single mention of hair found in a bathroom, but this seems to be an isolated incident.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions such as Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby. The convenience of local amenities and the ease of access to walking routes contribute to its high rating.
Guests found the beds very comfortable and the property cosy and warm. However, some guests mentioned that seating arrangements could be tight for larger groups and that a radiator issue caused discomfort until resolved.
The property is well-equipped with modern amenities, including Netflix and well-appointed kitchens and bathrooms. However, some guests noted a lack of certain kitchen items, minor maintenance issues, and a discrepancy in the advertised garden, which affected the score.
While guests appreciated the modern amenities and the welcome gift from the owners, there are not enough references to specific thoughtful gestures or consistent provision of gifts to accurately score this category.
