A superb Victorian mid-terrace property, centrally situated in historic Whitby. This outstanding Whitby cottage has been beautifully renovated, retaining a wealth of period features, with marble and cast iron fireplaces, ornate ceiling roses, and stripped pine floors and window shutters. The bright, spacious rooms of this Whitby cottage are luxuriously furnished, providing two very comfortable sitting rooms, . There is also a well-equipped kitchen with granite worktops and range cooker. Set over five floors, the quirky layout of this Whitby cottage offers excellent family accommodation, with plenty of space for everyone. Outside, a small front garden provides a sunny area to sit and relax, with views over to the famous abbey and St.

Mary's Church. Within five minutes' walk from this Whitby cottage are good eateries, local pubs and independent shops. Wander the cobbled, narrow streets down to the harbour, enjoy the long, sandy beaches or climb the 199 steps up to Whitby Abbey! Explore the dramatic coastline or the spectacular scenery of the North York Moors, all within very easy reach from this Whitby cottage. A great base for family and friends, all year round.

    There's plenty of room, so clean and very well appointed. Whitby is brilliant and the location of the house is so good for getting down into town, to the sea front and beaches. We are hoping to return.

    It was near to the beach, with easy access to the town and harbour. It was an ideal property for our group of 14 adults and children. The facilities in the house were good.

    The house was nicely furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had great cooking and cleaning facilities (with the two dishwashers) and the dining room was big enough for our party of 13. I'd highly recommend it to any large party!
