Built in the 1950’s, this property, set over three levels, has been completely transformed to provide a truly incredible family holiday home. The owner has gone to great lengths to ensure that Carmel provides the highest level of luxury. On the ground floor there’s an open plan dining area opening out onto the kitchen where you can enjoy home cooked family meals together. This then leads through a sliding door to the cosy snug complete with a TV and a double sofa bed. On the ground floor there is also a twin bedroom and a shower room. From the dining room, steps lead down to the living room, a spacious and bright heart of the home with a crackling wood burner and which leads out onto the enclosed garden. This south-facing garden is a sun trap, with a summerhouse, artificial lawn and a barbecue. Up on the first floor there are three bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room, and there is a separate family bathroom.
This property benefits from off road parking for two vehicles and is just a short walk away from Whitby’s many attractions, including the photogenic golden beach stretching all the way to Sandsend. Whitby is the perfect destination all year round, with lots of places on your doorstep which the family will love. There are beaches and coves nearby to explore, as well as a fascinating history which you can discover by visiting the museums or replica ships. Have some fun on the rowing boats along the river, enjoy horse riding on the moors or you can even treat the children to a day out at Flamingo Land. Beach 800 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

It was a lovely house a credit to the owners. The location was further away from the actual position shown on the map from Whitby town centre so took a taxi back up not good for someone with leg problems it did not spoil our stay. Nothing everything was great will be going back hopefully next year.
