Wonderful apartment, with fancy new kitchen and open plan living room - a real home from home. Sofas looked brand new too. Nice location overlooking the river and only a 10 minute (flat) walk into town - perfect to be away from the crowds whilst an easy walk to all the amenities. Whitby has plenty going on and lots of really good cafes, bars and eateries. We would certainly recommend.

Esk View is one of the most well supplied places I have stayed in. There were plenty of bin bags, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, soap, and everything you would find in your own kitchen at home - more! There was even a Nespresso machine and pods supplied!! The furnishings were beautiful and the view stunning. It’s also only a short walk into town so the kids were able to go in by themselves. Only two slight drawbacks for me - as a disabled person neither of the showers were accessible as both needed to be stepped into. I know it’s not advertised as an accessible property but worth noting if you’re considering it because it’s all in one level. The other drawback was the parking. I struggled to get my Peugeot Rifter in and out of the garage and that was with no cars in it. I hate to think how difficult it would be in the busy season when there’s other cars parked inside. Altogether tho we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. The owners have thought of everything, down to crabbing buckets in the cupboard!

Lovely appartment.Enjoyed watching the wildlife from the window. Welcome pack was nice. My only gripe is 1 bin liner 1 dishwasher tablet and a poor effort of the tiny Christmas tree with no lights.
