The property is equipped for a relaxing stay, though some guests noted minor issues with maintenance and facilities.

The cottage is praised for its great location, with proximity to scenic walks, Robin Hoods Bay, and other attractions, making it a desirable base for exploring the area.

Great location, and lovely house. The only fault was our small dog could get through the gaps in the hedges and had to be kept on a lead outside.

High Nook cottage was lovely, great provisions and a beautiful place.Unfortunately the forest fires by where we stayed meant that we could not enjoy the area and had to leave after only two nights. ( Robin Hoods Bay location)We were not warned of these fires which had been burning prior to our arrival. We had children with us so we're very concerned. I reported this to cottages.com and they did respond, however no compensation in any form has been offered, from owners or cottages.com. Yes this was a natural event, and they can quote all the laws at you, but what about good customer service. I shall never book with that company again
