It also has a garage, which can be used for storing bikes and surfboards. The property is a twenty minute walk from the Whitby Beach and the town centre, with many shops and restaurants. You could visit the ruins of gothic Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’, or venture towards the 199 steps, which boast magnificent views across the harbour and town once at the top. Further afield, are the heather-clad moors and limestone scars, an excellent sightseeing opportunity. La Rochelle is a well-presented bungalow in a convenient Yorkshire location.
Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches just a twenty minute walk away. Not to forget the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

The property was really spacious and light, nice sized kitchen dinner, lounge, bathroom, and bedrooms we used, heating and hot water system really good. The enclosed back garden was ideal for our dog and a real suntrap with a mixture of lawn and patio area.This has to be one of the best places we have stayed at and we've stayed in a few over the years.
