Enjoying a superb position directly on the water side of Whitby’s bustling harbour, this property commands splendid views over the boat-filled marina. Relax in the sitting room or on the patio and enjoy a colourful parade of boats, or take a leisurely stroll along the harbour side to the interesting old town centre with its friendly pubs, craft shops, tea rooms and restaurants. Located in a quiet part of town within walking distance of the ancient Abbey, sandy beaches, cliff top walks and seaside attractions. The North York Moors are on the doorstep, as is the famous North York Moors Steam Preservation line.

A peaceful and relaxing stayA lovely stay in this property. Clean, welcoming and mostly quiet (heard the adjoining neighbours quite regularly). Bit too cold to use the terrace but still fabulous to sit in front of the patio doors overlooking the wharf – so relaxing and will be fabulous in summer. A quick 5 minute walk into the very centre of Whitby. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. Dirty spoons in the sink on arrival but everything else very clean and fresh.Just a couple of suggestions – as other guests have mentioned it would really be useful to provide an instruction leaflet such as wifi, heating, television (we could not get the tv on) and bin emptying etc. The parking was tight for us (Nissan Quashqai) but we managed it and still a really good benefit to have that space. This is not a negative (it is what it is) just information for future guests who may have large cars.Checkout at 9am was a bit early for us though – earliest checkout that we’ve had in any accommodation.

Stayed in Whitby on many occasions. Never been in a place so clean. Very well equipped and comfortable. Parking a bonus. Tele needed tuning in as couldn’t get a lot of stations. Some cleaning equipment would have been useful. Apart from that a wonderful place to stay. Would certainly recommend.
