Lawsons Lodge sits in a friendly residential area just a short walk from a corner shop, play park and community café, with Whitby’s historic harbour, beach and cobbled streets only a 15–20 minute stroll away. You can climb the famous 199 steps to Whitby Abbey, whose dramatic ruins inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula, or stroll along the harbour and piers for wonderful sea views. We had a wonderful stay in such a lovely place. It is situated far enough away from the centre of town to not to to loud on a night but also close enough to walk to where ever you wanted to go. The property its self was lovely and tidy with the comfiest sofas, partner has now said he wants the same sofa. The bed was really comfy to sleep on and we didn’t hear a peep from the neighbours. Have recommended the place to others who also love exploring Whitby.

Lovely area, car parking for 2 cars was good. Hot tub service was good. We asked for the hot tub to be filled up again on 2 occasions, this happened straight away (no fault with the hot tub, we has 4 big 6ft adults using it) The house was very clean, the welcome pack was good, tea coffee, biscuits. Negatives, tired well used settee, only one family bathroom , Another single toilet, either on the top floor bedroom, or downstairs would have been beneficial to the group. We enjoyed our holiday though. Thanks
