A great location close to Whitby,20 minute walk and 10 minutes in car. On arrival we had a lovely welcome pack we appreciated and Lisa the owner contacted us shortly after arrival to ask if we needed anything.Overall a great holiday and would recommend to anyone .We are looking forward to returning next year.

.. We must thank Lisa, the owner, who went above and beyond to help us, I can't recall any of the previous holiday properties we have stayed in when we have been contacted by the actual owner...and certainly not in an intrusive way, but just to say by text that we could have use of the cottage before the actual check in time, and to help us over another matter that wasn't property related... Certainly if we choose to stay in that area again, Maplebeck would be my first choice... Our dog settled very well there aswell...
