Normanby House is a contemporary, comfortable and attractive Whitby cottage. We were well looked-after by Nick & Hannah and had an unexpected welcome gift too.It had all the things we needed - even coffee pods, which was nice - and we didn't need to take anything with us such as washing up liquid and that sort of thing. The beds were really comfortable, the place was styled well and had a relaxed and inviting aesthetic - like a stay in a nice hotel - not like some of the utilitarian cottages/apartments we have seen, which was really important to me.The literal only downside - which is no surprise in the centre of Whitby - is the inability to park one's car onsite, but as were off season (before 1st March) parking was free 2mins walk away in a council car park. However, you can unload (if you're confident at driving in small alleys) at the building. This would not put us off staying here again, however, if we wanted to come back.It's practically in the town centre so we walked into town and to the beach all the time. I'm really glad I booked this place.

Cannot fault this accommodation, it was spotlessly clean and the furnishings throughout were of a really high standard. The welcome pack was fabulous. We stayed as a group of friends for a long weekend, and there was more than enough space to accommodate us all comfortably. The house was so lovely, we spent a couple of nights back there after busy days, rather than go out again in to Whitby. I’d definitely stay again.
